The RTIH Editor’s Choice Award is chosen by RTIH Editor and Founder, Scott Thompson. It recognises standout entries from across the 14 2022 RTIH Innovation Awards categories.
This follows a blockbuster 12 months, which saw the company become the market-leading in-store money-saving app in the UK. Helping shoppers save and earn at local Nisa and independent convenience stores. Since its launch on September 13th 2021, Scan & Save growth has accelerated exponentially and is now operational in over 350 stores nationwide.
Scott Thompson, Editor and Founder of RTIH said ''Jisp caught my attention as its money-saving and rewards app is very much needed in the current climate. This not only provides real benefits for the consumer but also a multitude of data for the retailer. By focusing on the customer experience and making that experience almost online-like whilst offering real in-store benefits, Jisp has excelled in a very difficult and complex market. Innovation and technology play a critical role in the success of the retail sector, so it is great to recognise standout examples through our awards.”
Thompson continued "We received a record number of submissions this year and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times. Congratulations to Jisp for emerging victorious in such competitive circumstances.”
Celebrating the award, Julian Fisher, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Jisp said '' It has been an incredible year for Jisp breaking records almost weekly as we help shoppers save many hundreds of thousands of pounds whilst bringing much needed extra sales to convenience store owners. The recognition by the Editor of RTIH is quite simply the brandy on the Christmas pudding''.
